Matilda the Musical на Бродвее!

В общем, могу только порадоваться за американцев, потому что, как написал один восторженный поклонник, они еще не представляют, что им предстоит увидеть. И хотя я не Александр Журбин, почему-то мне кажется, что ничего подобного на Бродвее не было никогда.
Официальная премьера назначена на 11 апреля 2013 года в The Schubert Theater (225 West 44th Street, New York, NY, 10036), предварительные просмотры будут с 4 марта. Предварительная продажа билетов уже началась, но билеты можно приобрести только за кредитные карты American Express, причем владельцам престижных карт (Gold, Platinum, Centurion) гарантируется приоритет в выборе мест.

Я же продолжу смотреть мюзикл в Cambridge Theatre'e в Лондоне (следующий просмотр 3 октября).

P.S. Место действия американского варианта "Матильды" останется в Англии - несмотря на сильное давление "американизировать" пьесу. Продюсеры RSC просто сказали: нет!
